• Are there professional standards for the coaching industry?
Yes, there is a code of ethics, core competencies, accreditation processes and a professional association), the International Coach Federation, which promotes the development and advancement of coaches.  I am certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

How will I know you are the right coach for me?
During our initial email exchanges and discovery telephone session, we will explore if this is an appropriate fit. So before you say "yes," you will have a sample of what the coaching experience will be like. One sign that we can work well together is if we come to the end of our discussion and you have had an enjoyable time, feel optimistic and energized, and have a clear plan about what you can do next to forward your goals.

How do I get started with coaching?
If you are interested in working with me in as your coach, please contact me via email or phone, or click on the "schedule an appointment" link in the upper right corner of this page.

What can I expect from you as my coach?

This is my commitment to you:

    • I will partner with you in your efforts to achieve up to your potential.
    • I will keep everything you tell me confidential.
    • I will work to expand your view of what is possible and help you discover new insights
    • I will offer you honest feedback and serve as a sounding board for your ideas.
    • I will listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that can increase your awareness about what blocks your progress and what energizes you.
    • I will serve as resource for you in accomplishing your goals.

Can I contact you in-between our scheduled coaching sessions?
Of course. In the event that you would like support on something that comes up in between our meetings, you can email me and we can have “just in time” coaching via email or arrange for an additional session.

If you are interested in having an exploratory consult session, click on the "make an appointment " button at the sidebar on the right side of the page. I will be notified when you make your appointment and I will reply within 24 hours to give you more information about what will happen in your exploratory session.

How do I access my private client area, and how do I log in?
Once we have established a coaching agreement, you can access your private client page by clicking on the login link at the upper right corner of the Flourish! homepage. Then enter the username and password that you created when you registered.

I have a password that I use for most of my on-line accounts.  Can I change the password I used when I registered for my coaching consult?
Yes. I will send you a log in when your register.  Once you are in the system as an active client, you can log in to your Client Profile page, click on the FORMS tab at the top of the screen, then click on the Client Profile link. The link for changing your password is at the bottom of that form.

What if I forget or lose my password and login information? No problem! If you forget your login, email me and I will resend it. If you know your login but forgot your password, you can still use the Login page. Enter your username and click on the “Forgot Password" button. You will receive an email shortly with your password included. If you misplaced both your username and your password, contact me via email and I will forward your information to you.

    • Remember that the login information is case sensitive, so enter it exactly the way you created it.  If you are unsure what that is, contact me via email and I’ll forward that information to you.

What background information do I need to provide to get started?
Prior to our first session, I will ask you to log in and click on the Forms tab at the top of your Private Client Access page.  There you will have access to several forms that will provide me with the background information I need to understand how to start in our work together. These forms include the “Client Profile” form, a “Goals” form and also a “Discovery” form and the Coaching Agreement for you to review and approve.  The Goals and Discovery forms are opportunities for you to reflect on your aims in coaching and the values that will energize your efforts.  I will ask you to complete these items prior to our initial coaching session.

What methods can I use to pay for my coaching sessions?
I accept payments using Visa and MasterCard credit cards. In your first session, I will collect your credit card information which is stored in a secure off-site management system with my merchant services provider. I will bill your card each month for the number of sessions that we have agreed upon in your coaching agreement. Your invoice will be sent on the last day of each month. Your credit card will be charged on the seventh day of the following month.

Is my credit card information secure?
Yes. I do not retain any credit card information on my office computer. I will bill your card directly through my merchant services provider, DirectPay, Inc. They are in compliance with all federal regulations for identity and credit card data security. Once I enter your credit card numbers, I am unable to access them. If those numbers change for any reason, I will re enter all the new numbers without seeing the old ones.
